We're going to celebrate our wedding in a few parts. We'll start in Seattle at the Woodmark Hotel in August 2025, and then in Brisbane at the W Hotel in January 2026. We're inviting everyone to join the event or events they'd prefer! You're welcome to join either or both.

Cocktail / Semi-formal attire Both events will be in summer in both Seattle and Brisbane by the water, we want to make sure you're comfortable.

To allow our guests to fully relax and enjoy themselves, we have chosen to make our wedding reception an adults-only event.

Yes! When you RSVP you'll be able to let us know about any dietary requirements.

August is one of the most beautiful months in the PNW! Plan for sun (and don't forget your sunglasses)! The summer nights can get cooler and you may want something to keep warm in the evening, especially when near the water.

Our wedding celebration is at the beautiful Woodmark Hotel and Still Spa on the shores of Lake Washington. We would love to have you stay on-site with us! There are also several nearby hotels in Kirkland and Seattle, or you can get a VRBO or Airbnb if you'd like more space! See our travel page for more information.

The Woodmark offers plenty of parking. To self-park is $25 per night per vehicle, with in & out privileges.

The Woodmark Hotel is approximately 20 minutes from downtown Seattle, and approximately 30 minutes from Sea-Tac Airport. We would recommend arriving by car or rideshare. There are also public transportation options listed on the Travel page of the website.

Yes, the Woodmark Hotel is accessible to guests with wheelchair-accessible parking, entrances, elevators and rooms available. The wedding will take place on the ground floor an is accessible via the parking garage or via the elevator from the main hotel entrance.

Kirkland is roughly 20 minutes from Seattle. You can take WA-520 East or I-90 East then 405 North.

Out of town guests should plan to fly into and out of Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA), Seattle, WA 98158.

We will be enjoying cocktail hour and socializing on the outdoor lawn near the lake as well as inside the hotel's Library. Guests will be served dinner in the beautiful lakeside tent, and we will enjoy music and dancing in the indoor ballroom.

Yes. The Woodmark offers the option to bring a dog along when you make a reservation. There is an additional fee of $75 which includes a bed, food & water bowls, and more. You can read more about the hotel's dog friendly options on the Woodmark website. However, dogs are not allowed at the wedding reception.

January in Brisbane is warm, humid, and typically sees a mix of sunshine and summer showers. Daytime temperatures average around 29°C (84°F), with nights cooling to about 21°C (70°F). While the month brings a fair chance of rain—often in short, tropical bursts—there’s still plenty of sunshine, averaging over 8 hours a day. Guests are encouraged to dress for warm weather and consider light, breathable fabrics
